Sakura no Sato

Sakura no Sato, or Cherry Blossom Village, is home to approximately 40 varieties and 1,500 cherry trees planted on its vast 40,000 square meter grounds. It is famous as a spot where various types of cherry blossoms can be enjoyed for a long period from September to May. In February, Kanzakura and Kawazuzakura bloom; in March, early-blooming Oshima Zakura, Jogasaki Zakura, and Ito Zakura continue to bloom, and in April, the splendid Somei Yoshino reaches its peak. Different cherry blossoms each season welcome numerous cherry blossom viewers. It is recognized as one of Japan’s “Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots.”
