This is the second newest golf course on the Izu Peninsula. It features four teeing grounds named after gemstones, such as “Pearl” and “Emerald,” based on the color of their tee markers. Laid out on a spacious area 1.5 times larger than an average golf course, every hole offers ample distance. The long 4th hole, a left dogleg, is 627 yards, with the left side continuously an out-of-bounds zone all the way to the green, demanding both distance and accuracy for the second and third shots. It’s a hole that often makes golfers think, “If only I hadn’t had that big stroke…” after their round. Also, the short 6th hole is 250 yards, leaving golfers on the tee wondering, “Which club should I use?” In the golf scene, where driver distance performance has significantly improved in recent years, this course has earned a reputation among advanced players as “a course where all 14 clubs can be used,” and has received favorable reviews from average players and female customers for its “beautiful fairways.”
