Jogasaki Coast

Jōgazaki Coast was formed approximately 4,000 years ago by lava flow from the eruption of Mt. Omuro. We recommend strolling along the approximately 9km scenic course and nature trail. The “Kadowaki Suspension Bridge,” with a length of 48m and a height of approximately 23m, is a particularly thrilling spot with spectacular views. From the observation deck of the “Kadowaki-zaki Lighthouse,” where you can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views, you can see the Izu Seven Islands and the Amagi Mountain Range. In addition to the magnificent scenery, you can enjoy lovely flowers such as hydrangeas in June, daylilies and transparent lilies in July, and beach chrysanthemums and leopard plant in autumn.
