とても良いです - 2/13/2025
The hotel is really wonderful. The owner offered to drive us to and from the station. The accommodation at night was extremely quiet. The room was a Japanese - style one with a large space. Highly recommended! - 2/07/2025
I stayed for two nights back in October 2024. Amazing experience. The ryokan is in a great state, everything is clean and well maintained. The rooms are gorgeous, in the traditional Japanese style with beautiful tatami flooring, comfortable futons with pretty blankets and cozy furniture that makes you feel like you are living in the heart of Japanese tradition. They serve a very tasty and varied Japanese breakfast with multiple small dishes, grilled fish, tea and miso soup. Perfect to start the day full of energy. There are two public baths that you have to book in advance, a big one and a small one. Both are super clean all the time. There’s nothing like the feeling of taking a dip in the hot spring water after a long day of hiking around the beautiful Izu Peninsula. But the best part about Hinodeya Ryokan is the service. The people there are the kindest and most endearing I met across my 45 days in Japan. They are always available to help you with anything you might need, they make you feel right at home from the second you step foot in the ryokan. They offer you rides to and from the station, they even take you up to the Mt. Omuro cable car station. This is what that famous Japanese hospitality is all about. In short, if you are considering visiting the Izu Peninsula (and you should because it’s gorgeous), you should also consider spending a night or two at Hinodeya. You won’t regret it. - 1/29/2025
