Sumibiyaki‑Kappō Tomo (Charcoal‑Grilled Japanese Cuisine)
This is a Japanese restaurant in Izu Kogen.
In spring, we serve wild mountain vegetables from Amagi.
In summer, enjoy live ayu (sweetfish) from the Kano River and natural eel.
Autumn features mangrove crabs from Minami Izu, mokuzu crabs from Naka Izu, as well as wild boar and venison.
In winter, we offer fugu (pufferfish), mahata (grouper), and Japanese spider crab, among other delicacies.
We also have a wide selection of sake and shochu.
All seating is horigotatsu (sunken kotatsu-style).
Lunch is non-smoking, while smoking is allowed during dinner.
