New York Lamp Museum & Flower Garden
A scenic area at Jogasaki Coast, full of contrasts: nature and art, Japanese and Western, stillness and motion
At the New York Lamp Museum & Flower Garden, approximately 70 stained glass works are on display, including Tiffany table lamps and window panels created about 120 years ago. The cafe in the “Museum Annex” offers a variety of photogenic dishes, including lunch sets with seasonal pasta and chicken curry, as well as desserts adorned with edible flowers. Terrace seating is recommended on sunny days. Furthermore, the garden features a flower garden with seasonal blooms such as canola flowers, marguerites, linaria, muruchicore, and sunflowers. From late May to June each year, the “Hydrangea Garden” opens, featuring over 200 varieties, including native Japanese mountain hydrangeas and splendid cultivated species. Dogs are also welcome in the park. You can enjoy a graceful time with your beloved dog, strolling through the flower fields in the garden, appreciating art inside the museum with a pet cart or while holding them, or relaxing at the terrace or pet-friendly seats in the cafe.
