About Parahawking in Japan

Parahawking originated in Pokhara, Nepal, where it began as rehabilitation using paragliding to return rescued birds of prey to the wild. It later developed into a tandem (two-person paragliding) activity. In Japan, Izu is currently the only place where parahawking is possible.
Enjoy a scenic flight with an instructor in a two-person paraglider. After a simple lecture, you’ll start running at jogging speed and be airborne in no time. The paraglider is piloted entirely by the instructor. Please come and experience the vast sky of Izu with a tandem paragliding flight.
