Izu Pottery Experience Hokekyo-an is located in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The forest studio, which includes a cafe, was self-built by the staff. Three active artists who lead the pottery scene are based here, and their unique “Izu-yaki” pottery has received certification for management innovation from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. You can choose from finishes inspired by Izu’s scenery and specialties, such as “Izu Shirahama-yaki” and “Izu Cherry Blossom and Nanohana-yaki.”
